This study group is unusual in that it is open to students from all the disciplines and emphasizes the interdisciplinary study of a region that is complex, culturally diverse, English-speaking, and close to the United States. The program is located in the nation of Trinidad and Tobago, a multicultural society. Faculty and students at the University of the West Indies come from all over the English-speaking Caribbean. Study group participants can choose from a wide range of courses in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Many of the courses focus on the Caribbean.
