Meet the Director

Charles Pete Banner-Haley

Professor Banner-Haley has been a professor at Colgate since 1989 and he has been the director of ALST for the past 3 years. Banner-Haley has done ~four books and he writes articles and reviews for the following journals:

Afro-Americans in New York Life and History, Journal of Negro History, Pennsylvania History, Southern Cultures, Western Journal of Black Studies, and Journal of Southern History

Professors John Naughton, Charles Pete Banner-Haley, Graham Hodges, Lynette Stephenson, Paul Pinett, and Scott Kraly discussed academic discourse in Fall 2002.
