    ChInA Club


    The members of the ChInA club

    ChInA Club is an an acronym for Chinese Interest Association. The object of the China Club is to enrich the Colgate community with activities and events educating and promoting awareness of Chinese culture. The ChInA Club will also serve the purpose in building up the Chinese Division of the Asain Studies Department in providing greater opportunities for Asain Studies majors that have an emphasis in Chinese.

    Recent Events

    This past year, ChInA club organised the celebration of various Chinese festivals like the Lantern Festival and The Chinese Lunar New Year. Through traditional cultural dinners, speeches and skits performed at these events, the ChInA Club promoted Chinese traditions and customs.

    We plan to bring in more cultural performers later in the year. We also hope to have a game night to teach Chinese games like Mahjong and Chinese Chess to the community.

    Where do I sign up?

    If you want to join the ChInA Club come to our weekly meetings every Friday, 3:30pm Ho Center Lawerance Hall.
