• Ancient World Web: This is a great collection of sites, indexed and easily searchable, most with handy descriptions so that you can get a sense of whether you want to bother with any particular link.
• Perseus: One of the most extensive Classics sites on the Web today. This is a rich resource for texts, images, archaeological remains and site plans. Originally focussed on Greek culture, it now has a companion site called Roman Perseus which is currently under construction.
• Argos: Argos is an Effective Selective Search Engine for Ancient and Medieval Sites and Sources. This automatically filters out irrelevant info (e.g., computer programs named ‘Plato’)
