ALUMNI NEWS NOTES
Class of 1973

Jacqueline (Miller) Pearl: Have been in my own business now for over 18 years designing primarily residential properties. Stewart who I met at Colgate is an aviation attorney. We just celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. Our two daughters are Betsy age 12 and Katie age 18. Katie was just recently accepted to Colgate, but to our chagrin, chose Pomona College - How could she!!! We loved touring the campus - though it has practically doubled since '73. My best to all my old buddies. (submitted 6/03)

Gil Wiswall: I'm still upright and able to take nutrition. MacLelland's retirement took a lot out of me. (submitted 6/03)

Richard Wiener: I have fond memories of the Off-campus and the camaraderie of the Geo dept. and my fellow students. I got to spend a summer mapping with the Chief in the Daks and led to my choosing to do a Ph.D in the Adirondacks. After finishing my Ph. D at Umass Amherst I taught for a couple of years in Structure at SUNY Oneonta , worked a year at NYGS, and made my way to ExxonMobil where I spent the last 29 years, and am nearing retirement. the last 3 years have been on assignment in London and has been a fun assignment. I also got to live in Alaska, Colorado, and Calgary, and, of course, a long time in Houston. The work has been challenging and fascinating. I'd advise students to consider o&g industry, the work is challenging and salaries are good. The company treats its employees very well. (submitted Jan 2011)
