(submitted 6/03)

Laurie DeArmond:   I have been living in New Orleans for the last 2 years and recently joined the law firm of Porteous, Hainkel & Johnson as an associate.(submitted 6/03)

Dan Gaudiano:   After three in RI, my wife (Lisha Chase '96) and I are moving to Hawaii. I have been teaching earth science and chemistry at a public high school while she has been in graduate school for physical therapy school. In Hawaii I will be teaching environmental science and oceanography and Lisha will be working her first "real" job as a physical therapist.

A warm aloha to the faculty and my classmates (95-96-97).

Also, I had my geology masters project published in the Journal of coastal research in Summer, 2001. It may be of interest to Paul or Charley. The info is below:
Gaudiano, D.J., and T.W. Kana. 2001. Shoal bypassing in mixed energy inlets: Geomorphic variables and empirical predictions for nine South Carolina inlets. Journal of Coastal Research, 17(2), 280-291.
(submitted 6/03)

Ryan Hoffman:   I am coming up on 10 years at GEI Consultants, an environmental, geotechnical, and water resource engineering firm outside of Boston (offices nationwide). We are always looking for great people to work here so feel free to contact me!

My wife and I now have two little girls, 4 and 2, who keep us very busy. Both girls love to pick up and carry rocks all over the place so perhaps they are destined for something greater (submitted May 2008)

I recently received my Professional Geologist license from the State of New Hampshire.
(submitted 7/03)

Reed Lewis: After graduation I headed to Aspen, CO, via the Chief Hosa Campground, and have been either in Aspen or Snowmass since. Though most of you thought my geology days were over, I have been researching the Cordilleran orogeny with diligence early and late season here in the Rockies. So far, I have accumulated more core shots than core samples but continue to pursue my passion. I need to ski for just one more year... I hope everyone is doing well and if anyone is in the area look me up at the Pokolodi Lodge in Snowmass(970-923-4310) and we can re-enact that certain friday afternoon tradition.
