The Robert Linsley/James McLelland Endowment was established upon the retirement of Bob Linsley, Harold Orville Whitnall Professor of Geology, and the subsequent retirement of Jim McLelland (a.k.a. "The Chief"), Charles A. Dana Professor of Geology. This endowment is used to fund a deserving student for summer research.
