The geology department maintains an excellent assortment of instrumentation and lab
facilities for both research and teaching purposes. Analytical equipment is always selected with
student-use in mind. Students are encouraged to gain experience on various instruments either
through classes like Environmental Geochemistry or through independent research projects.
