Colgate geology students frequently can be found working, checking e-mail and/or socializing in room 401 Lathrop. This room is also home to the Colgate University Geological Society (a.k.a. the Geology Club). Computer facilities include a Macintosh G3 and five Windows 2000/Dell computers, HP Laserjet, Color Laserjet and Designjet wide format printers, and an HP Scanjet scanner. The room is also equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, campus courtesy phone, a sofa and large worktable.
