The wet chemistry lab is used primarily for rock dissolution and heavy mineral separations in order to prepare samples for ICP-MS, SEM/EDS and isotope analysis. It is equipped with hoods, clean boxes, Mettler balances and a Millipore reverse osmosis water filtration system.
