Awards Received at the 2004 Awards Convocation
The following students were honored at the 2004 Awards Convocation.
Jay Barr ('04) and Alison Koleszar ('04)
were given the
Award for Excellence in Geology which is presented
to students who best demonstrate a combination of excellence in the classroom and
creativity and perseverance in research.
Evan Goldstein ('04) and Emily Constantine ('04)
were awarded the Norma Vergo Prize in Geology
which is given to geology concentrators who significantly contribute to the spirit
of excellence among fellow students in the department.
Linda Chernak ('05))
was named a Charles A. Dana Scholar

was awarded the AAUP Professor-of-the-Year Award AND
the Alumni Corporation Distinguished Teaching Award
