Gina Fallas Awarded AGI Scholarship
Congratulations to Gina Fallas '08 who was awarded
a $655 AGI Scholarship in early December 2007! One of the main goals of this funding is to
enhance a student's professional development experiences,
including memberships in professional societies.
Professor Richard April who worked with Gina on her recent independent research into
"The Influence of Algae, Lichens, and Moss on the Chemical Weathering of Minerals,"
will mentor Gina over the course of the year, advising her with ideas for using the funds and on
post-Colgate opportunities.
