The Colgate Chamber Players

Do you love chamber music? Have you always wanted to perform chamber works from Mozart and Beethoven to Bartok and Schoenberg with fellow students and professionals?
The Colgate Chamber Players perform major works of the chamber music repertoire (primarily piano and strings) at four or five concerts during the year at various locations on campus and in the community (Colgate Chapel, Picker Art Gallery, President Karelis' home, et. al.). Normally, two consecutive terms are required to receive a single credit. Prerequisite: a short and friendly audition. You can be a Chamber Player without receiving course credit, as an extra-curricular activity.
"Chamber music is a flexible and exciting organization to be a part of. Fellow chamber musicians are supportive and I'm continually amazed at the music we manage to create. You begin to look forward to every performance...always trying to put everything you have into it..."
"The chamber music groups to which I belong have been an extremely rewarding part of my Colgate experience."
