Grade of C- or better in all above courses.  Advance placement does not reduce the total number of concentration courses to be taken. Students interested in physics graduate school are encouraged to take P302, P303, P371 and P372, and as many math courses as possible. Note: Phys111, Phys112, Astr101, Astr102 and Astr354 do not count toward the major.   *three of these courses must be 3xx or higher. Xxx are science courses approved by the Physical Science coordinator.

HONOR

Enroll in two more 3xx or 4xx courses and a GPA of at least B+ in the upper-level curriculum (3xx and 4xx) plus defend a honors thesis. High honors are given at the discretion of the faculty.
