Dr. Jeffrey T. Buboltz hired as an Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy. Jeff is a biophysicist interested in the study of model cell membranes. His appointment was approved by the University to be the ninth permanent faculty position in the department.
Joe Amato has been appointed Director of the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
Beth Parks was recipient of a National Science Foundation outreach grant entitled Girls under the Hood.
Vic Mansfield appointed Chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy for the period 2002-2005.
Prabasaj Paul, Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy, hired as an Assistant Professor at Denison University. Good luck Prabasaj! We will miss you!
