Each year, the Physics and Astronomy Department invites its students, teaching assistants, faculty and staff to a wonderful afternoon of relaxation and fun-filled excitement.  This event is held to honor our graduating seniors and to add some relief from the demanding studies of finals week for all!

On Wednesday, May 9, 2001, we all convened at the Bewkes Center (those of us that didn't get lost due to a poor map!).  Activities included canoeing, volleyball, and horseshoes. We ate a delicious lunch of picnic food.  The weather was sunny and relatively warm, but not for swimming (although some brave souls tried it!).  Below are some fun pictures.....
