"The Application of Corner-Cubes in the Michelson Interferometer Experiment"
Christopher Eger, Advisor: Dr. Enrique J. Galvez
The goal of this project is to build an alignment free Michelson interferometer. this can be done
using corner-cubes instead of flat mirrors. Corner-cubes reflect any beam entering the prism face,
regardless of the orientation of the prism, back onto itself. However, they modify the polarization
of the light. In this project the polarization properties of corner cubes and the conditions that allow
their use in a Michelson interferometer are investigated.
